“BAHIA PARAISO” (or Paradise Bay)

Bahia Paraiso is an natural reserve located at 35 km from Asuncion on the Paraguay River. It is a shelter for wild animals that were rescued or found injured at other sites of the country. Thus, many animals found a new home in this reserve that provides freedom of movement and where they are being cared for with gentleness and experience.

We’re searching for financial support to construct a Child Shelter and a Vet. Station for sick animals.

Grant for investigating animals in captivity.

Upon contact with humans, most wild animals are no longer able to return to their habitats, they do not recognize their natural enemies and become easy preys for illegal hunters. BAHIA PARAISO, looks after these animals within a natural environment.
