THE TRENCH FROM THE MARISCAL LOPEZ EPOCH
In this World Peace year, with the intent of bringing out the historical patrimony of SENDA, the inhabitants of the small locality have installed small selling points for their homemade products alongside the war trench built during the Mariscal Lopez epoch.
Our NGO, OIPIC, together with the OZONO NGO, wishes to establish a small market with selling points for local products, to be opened every first Sunday of the month to offer a wide variety of local goods such as typical food, vegetables, plants and handcrafts.
Also, there is a small trail alongside the trench that combines a walk through nature with historical reminders by way of messages that were written by transcendental leaders from around the world who were awarded the NOBEL PRICE (Peace).
This site is found at only 35 km from Asuncion, Paraguay’s capital, and is thus an ideal place for weekend outings with the whole family.
Peace is not the contrary of War, and is not the time between two Wars either.

There is Peace when we act correctly and when there is Justice among all People and Human Beings.
